Retabtile is a browser extension that allows users to rename their browser tabs for better organization and focus. Your privacy is important to us, and we want you to understand how we handle your information.

Retabtile does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or sensitive user data.

• We do not access your browsing history
• We do not collect IP addresses or device information
• We do not track or monitor your usage
• We do not communicate with any external servers

All functionality is handled locally in your browser session.

2. Storage

Retabtile uses the Chrome Extension storage.session API to store your custom tab titles temporarily during your current browser session. This data is:

• Stored locally on your machine
• Automatically deleted when the tab or browser is closed
• Not accessible by the extension after the session ends

3. Permissions

The extension requests the following minimal permissions:

• activeTab: To rename the currently active tab when the user clicks the extension
• scripting: To inject JavaScript to change the tab's title
• storage: To temporarily store tab titles within the session

These permissions are required solely for the functionality described above.
